Questions
The basics
- What is BookiePerHead?
- BookiePerHead is a pay per head software provider. It supplies the betting platform, the lines and the back office an independent bookmaker runs a book from, and charges a flat weekly fee for each player who bets. It is not a sportsbook.
- What is pay per head?
- Pay per head is a way to rent sportsbook software by the week. The agent pays a flat fee for each player who bets that week and keeps his players, his limits and his settling. The provider runs the technology.
- Does BookiePerHead take bets or hold player money?
- No. We take no wagers, hold no player balances and pay no players. Every wager on the platform is between the agent and his player, and the agent collects and pays out himself.
- Who posts the lines?
- We do. Lines on all major sports worldwide are up 24 hours a day, every day of the year. You set the limits by player, by sport and by bet type.
Questions
Pricing and billing
- How much does the software cost?
- $8 per active head per week covers the sportsbook, the racebook and the digital casino. $11 adds live betting and Bet Builder. Live dealer casino is $13 per active head per week on top of either tier. There is no long-term commitment and you can leave at the end of any week.
- What counts as an active player?
- A player is active in a billing week if at least one of his wagers was graded that week. Graded means settled: won, lost or pushed. Nothing else makes a player billable.
- Do I pay for players who do not bet?
- No. A player who logs in, deposits, or sits on a funded account without a wager settling is not billed for that week. A name in a list costs you nothing.
- Is there a minimum?
- There is a weekly minimum and it is set against your book when we talk, because a floor that fits an agent with two hundred heads is wrong for one with twenty. It is not published for that reason. There is no long-term commitment.
- Is there a free trial?
- Not during American football season, or during the playoffs of any major sport, the NBA and MLB playoffs included. Outside those periods a free trial is available, and we go over it when we talk. The demo is available all year: we show the platform live, on real screens, so you can judge it against whatever you are using now.
- Do you take a percentage of what my players lose?
- No. The weekly fee per active head is the whole bill. We take no percentage of sportsbook or casino action in either tier, and we hold no player money.
- Can I pay in crypto?
- Yes. You can pay your weekly bill in crypto. We go over payment on the first call.
Questions
Starting and switching
- How do I see the platform?
- Ask for a demo with the form on this site. We open a demo account and take you through the agent screens and what your players would see. There is nothing to pay and no card to give.
- How long does it take to go live?
- Moving from another provider takes 48 hours or less. We set up your site, bring your players across and stay with you through the first week.
- Does it cost anything to move from another provider?
- No. Migration is free. We bring your players, their limits and your agent structure across for you.
- What do I need to get started?
- A list of your players and the limits you want on them. If you have sub-agents, tell us how they are arranged. We go through it together before anything moves.
Questions
The platform and support
- What is included in each plan?
- Standard at $8 includes the sportsbook, the racebook and the digital casino, with player and agent management and weekly reports. Pro at $11 adds live betting and Bet Builder. Live dealer casino is a separate add-on at $13 per active player per week.
- What is Bet Builder?
- Bet Builder lets a player put several picks on one ticket, at one price. It is a separate feature from live betting, and both are on Pro. Your limits apply to it the same way they apply to the rest of the board.
- Can I run the book under my own name and domain?
- Yes. White label puts your book on your own domain, with a landing page and a login page that carry your name. It is a one-time setup fee, and we go over the number on the demo call.
- Can I have sub-agents?
- Yes. Sub-agents get their own players, limits and figures, and you see the whole tree from your own login.
- Is the platform in Spanish?
- Yes. The platform, the support line and this site run in English and in Spanish.
- Can my players bet from their phones?
- Yes. Your players bet on their phones, and you can run the book from yours.
- How do I get support?
- Agents on the platform reach a call centre we run ourselves, and a person answers in English or Spanish. If you are not a customer yet, the demo form on this site is the way to reach us.
- Do you have a referral program?
- Yes. Any agent can refer another agent. Once the agent you referred is live, we confirm your reward with you directly.
