How does pay per head work?
Pay per head is a way to rent sportsbook software by the week. An independent bookmaker, called an agent, pays a flat fee for each player who bets that week. The provider supplies the betting site, the lines, the grading and the reports. The agent keeps the players, sets the limits and settles with them directly. The provider never takes a wager or holds player money.

Fill in the form on this site. It asks how many players you have, whether you have run a book before and who you use now. That is enough for us to prepare the right walkthrough.
See both sides
We open a demo account and take you through the agent screens and what your players would see. There is nothing to pay and no card to give. The demo is available all year.
We set up and move your book
We set up your site and bring your players across, with their limits and your agent structure. We go through the list with you before anything moves. If you are coming from another provider, the move costs you nothing.
You take bets
Your players log in and bet. We stay with you through the first week, which is when the questions come up.
Every week after
The week, the way it runs.
Lines post
Lines on all major sports worldwide are up around the clock, every day of the year. You set the limits by player, by sport and by bet type.
Bets grade
The platform grades each wager when it settles and keeps every player's balance. Open action and who owes what are on your screen whenever you look.
Monday closes
The weekly figures close and you settle with your players yourself. We bill you for the players who had a bet graded that week, and for nobody else.
Who does what
Your book. Our software.
What you do
You keep your players and decide who plays, on what credit and with what limits. You carry the action, you collect and you pay. You are also the one responsible for operating lawfully where you and your players are.
What we do
We run the platform, supply the lines, grade the wagers and produce the figures. Our own call centre answers in English and in Spanish.
What we never do
We take no wagers, hold no player money and pay no players. Nothing of your book sits with us except the software it runs on.
Paying us
One bill, once a week.
Standard is $8 per active player per week and covers the sportsbook, the racebook and the digital casino. Pro is $11 and adds live betting and Bet Builder. Live dealer casino is a separate add-on at $13 per active player per week.
A player is active only in a week one of his wagers is graded. We take no percentage of your action, on the sportsbook or on the casino.
You can pay the weekly bill in crypto. There is no long-term commitment, and you can leave at the end of any week.

- How long does it take to go live?

- Does it cost anything to move from another provider?
- No. Migration is free. We bring your players, their limits and your agent structure across for you.
- What do I need to get started?
- A list of your players and the limits you want on them. If you have sub-agents, tell us how they are arranged. We go through it together before anything moves.
- Is there a free trial?
- Not during American football season, or during the playoffs of any major sport, the NBA and MLB playoffs included. Outside those periods a free trial is available, and we go over it when we talk. The demo is available all year: we show the platform live, on real screens, so you can judge it against whatever you are using now.
- Can I pay in crypto?
- Yes. You can pay your weekly bill in crypto. We go over payment on the first call.
- Do you take bets or hold my players' money?
- No. BookiePerHead is the software and the support behind it. You run the book, carry the action and settle with your own players.
